Savory Taco Dorito Bundt Bake Instructions

  1. First, preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius). Grab a 12 to 14-quart nonstick Bundt pan, and coat the entire interior liberally with nonstick cooking spray. Don’t skimp here – this step keeps your finished bake from sticking to the pan.

  2. Add your ground beef to a large nonstick skillet, then cook over medium-high heat. As the beef heats up, break it apart into small, even crumbles, and continue cooking until it is fully browned all through, which takes roughly 5 minutes. Stir in your taco seasoning and the required amount of water, then cook the mixture following the directions listed on the seasoning package. Once done, transfer the cooked taco beef to a clean plate and let it cool for approximately 5 minutes before assembling.

  3. Start building your layers in the prepared Bundt pan: Spread roughly one-third of your Dorito chips evenly across the bottom, then top with half of the cooled beef mixture. Sprinkle on ½ cup of diced tomatoes, followed by 1 ½ cups of shredded cheese. Repeat this full layering sequence once more to use up the next batch of ingredients. Finish the top layer with the remaining Doritos and a final 1 cup of shredded cheese.

  4. Take a sheet of aluminum foil and coat one side generously with cooking spray. Drape the foil over the top of the Bundt pan, place the sprayed side facing down toward your ingredients, and wrap it tightly to seal in heat while baking.

  5. Place the covered pan into your preheated oven, and bake until all the cheese through the layers is fully melted and gooey, which takes approximately 15 minutes.

  6. Carefully remove the pan from the oven and discard the foil. Set a large serving platter upside down on top of the Bundt pan, then flip both over quickly and carefully to invert your taco Bundt onto the platter. Top the finished bake with shredded lettuce, sour cream, your go-to hot sauce, and sliced jalapeños. For extra flavor and customization, serve with guacamole, fresh salsa, or warm cheese sauce for dipping on the side if desired.
