Crispy Air Fryer Cheese-Stuffed Tortilla Rolls

Step-by-Step Cooking Instructions

  1. Lay each flour tortilla flat on a clean work surface. Place one whole cheese stick along the bottom third of the tortilla, then fold the left and right edges of the tortilla inward toward the center to tuck and seal the sides. Roll the tortilla tightly from the end holding the cheese all the way to the opposite edge. If your assembled roll won’t stay closed on its own, slide a toothpick through the center to secure it.

  2. Arrange all assembled rolls in a single uncrowded layer in your air fryer basket. Brush the entire outer surface of each roll evenly with olive oil, then add a light sprinkling of garlic powder and dried parsley over top for extra savory flavor.

  3. Cook the rolls at 400°F (200°C) for approximately 5 minutes, or until the tortilla exterior turns light golden brown and turns perfectly toasted and crisp. If you are using extra-large tortillas or stuffing more than one cheese stick per roll, add 1 to 2 extra minutes of cook time to ensure the cheese melts all the way through.

  4. Carefully remove the hot rolls from the air fryer, pull out and discard any securing toothpicks, and serve warm. Add a side of marinara sauce for dipping if desired.
